Sam first encountered the world of Behavioral Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2015 when she volunteered at a local clinic in Michigan that provided ABA services to children and young adults. At that time, Sam also provided daily assistance to families with children who have special needs. She earned her B.S in psychology from Central Michigan University Global living in Southern California where her spouse was stationed. In California, Sam volunteered for a military relief-society helping military members with financial and familial support. While in California, Sam also worked for a local Autism clinic. After a few years in California, Sam moved to North Carolina where she worked with a local-ABA provider, providing community, clinic and in-home based ABA services as an RBT, BCaBA and BCBA. While living in North Carolina, Sam received her M.S in Psychology with a concentration in ABA from Purdue University Global. Following graduation, Sam received her BCBA and licensure for Michigan (LBA). Being an active-duty military spouse, Sam feels an advantage to frequent transitions across states and working with military-affiliated families, is the ability to effectively adapt and work with families with a variety of different cultural backgrounds and routines.

In 2023, Sam moved to Michigan where she worked for a local ABA-clinic where she developed a large passion for supporting the quality of ABA services and the want to address the needs within Saginaw County, MI.

When Sam is not working, she loves to garden, read fantasy or mystery novels, run, play frisbee with her dog, Harper, and cook delicious meals/treats and spend time with her family.
